Curved Glass
Curved glass is used for shop windows, showcase units and glass façades. GlasAktive offers curved glazing with various curve radii up to a maximum size of 3.210 x 6.000 mm.
Cylindrically curved glass:
- Float glass up to 3.210 x 6.000 mm (length x height)
- Laminated safety glass from float glass up to 3.210 x 6.000 mm (length x height)
- Laminated safety glass from toughened safety glass or semi-tempered glass up to 3.200 x 5.500 mm (length x height)
- Toughened safety glass up to 3.200 x 5.500 mm (length x height)
- Isolation glass from float glass or laminated safety glass/float
- Isolation glass from toughened safety glass or Laminated safety glass from toughened safety glass/semi-tempered glass
Curved glazing can be produced to meet various customer requirements:
Cylindrically curve with straight extensions, spherically curved, conically curved and parabolically curved. Generally speaking curved glass is not a regulate building material. In each case approval much be obtained from the senior building authority.
